Welcome to The Model Warbird Collector Forum a forum dedicated to the enjoyment of collecting prebuilt die-cast models and building plastic kits of warbird aircraft by casual and recreational collectors. We the members of The Model Warbird Collector Forum are not experts, though through our experiences as collectors, we do have a certain expertise. We enjoy collecting or building aircraft models and appreciate them for what they are; replicas of the warbirds we love. We encourage you to read our posts and enjoy your visit to our forum. Guests & Past Members,

Due to a new rash of spamming registrations, I have had to reset the registration protocols back to the "invitation only" registration process for new members and for those past members whose accounts have lapsed. Anyone wishing to join our forum is welcome. Please send a note requesting a registration code to the following e-mail address:

Please be aware that I am administering two forums, so please let me know which forum you wish to join.

Once I receive your request, I will generate an invitation which will be sent to your e-mail address. At this point, you can complete the registration screen. During this registration process, you will be asked to enter the second confirmation code that I sent you. This code is case sensitive. After I receive your registration request, I will activate your account and send you another email telling you that your account is active.

How accurate do your die-cast and plastic builds have to be?

Totally! My models must be 100 percent accurate. [0]
Close! I want them to be as close to historically accurate as possible. [5]
50-50! I will accept some minor cosmetic / historical inaccuracies as long as the basic model represents the actual aircraft. [7]
Good enough! I will accept most cosmetic (scheme) and historical / detail inaccuracies. [0]
Anything goes! From totally fabricated or historically inaccurate schemes to general inaccuracies of form and shape, I'll buy or accept anything. [0]
